Welcome to the Adam Robertson Elementary School Parent Advisory Council web page.
As a parent or guardian of a student at Adam Robertson Elementary School (ARES) you are automatically a member of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). The PAC's role in the school is to participate in the education of our students and advise the school – it is the voice of parents/guardians on behalf of our students. You can be involved as little or as much as you like.
Our meetings are typically held the 2nd Thursday of each month during the school year. Most are held at 9:00am but we provide a couple at 6:30pm to support engagement with additional parents/guardians with different schedules. Parental input is important to our meetings and we encourage everyone who can to attend – PAC meetings provide a chance to hear what is happening at your student’s school and an opportunity for you to get more involved in discussions, problem solving, volunteering and building relationships. All we ask from you is your time and there is no commitment required -- attend as few or as many meetings as you can! .
The PAC hosts and supports a variety of activities and fundraisers which require volunteers to make these possible. The PAC Breakfast Program is our largest and has grown every year since its inception. If you are able to volunteer to help out please contact us and we will be in touch to provide further details.
