The intermediate students are showing off their problem-solving skills. Each week, Mrs. Walker posts a new question or task, with the goal of finding as many ways to solve the same problem as possible. The solutions are displayed on our new math bulletin board to share all of the inventive ways students have found solutions.

Orange Shirt day took on a  new event this year at ARES.  Classes overwhelmingly wore their orange shirts, created an orange shirt mini sign that said "Every Child Matters" and walked through our community.  Community showed their support by honking their horns and waving to the groups.  They even had a photo op at the local town office.  This was a great way to sh

It is a wonderful sight - children playing, exploring and learning in the ECOSPACE.  The plantings wintered last year well, blossomed in the spring, thrived through the hot summer (with help from the irrigation) and are now ready for the dormant season again.   There are a few jobs that need to be taken care of before the snow comes.  We are organizing a Fall Cleanup for Tue
