The Lion King Jr. – A Roaring Success!
Huge congratulations to the incredible cast and crew of The Lion King Jr., who impressed audiences in two sold-out performances on March 7th and 8th at the KRSS Auditorium! Watching our ARES students shine on stage was truly moving, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and dedication.
This production featured 83 students in grades 3 through 7 who have been rehearsing since October, with extra-long sessions leading up to showtime. While they must be exhausted, we hope they feel an immense sense of accomplishment.
Pumba’s Grubs was a fun intermission fundraiser that let the audience snack Lion King style. It was a hit, and just one more way our parent community came together to make this event special.
A show of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated staff and parent volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Kyla Hamm, the director and creative genius behind this production, led the way with vision and passion, supported by Blakeny Delcaro and Danielle Sonntag, who played key roles in bringing this performance to life.
We also appreciate the many parents who contributed in so many ways—building sets, preparing food, applying makeup, designing costumes, and coordinating fundraising efforts. Their support was invaluable in making this production a success.
Thank you to all who made The Lion King Jr. an unforgettable success!
